As some of you know, I have been making myself parts for a few years now. Last year a competitive shooter I know emailed me about a problem he was having with a part on his competitive pistols. It was his slide stop thumb rests, they kept breaking over a short period of time and he was completely frustrated after breaking 3 of them. He shipped the broken parts to me and after several long months I sent him a slide lock thumb rest which I designed. Well they worked so well he bought 3 more for all his pistols and to date has not had a single issue with them.
